Coddington is an adult male tagged Jan. 3, 2019,  in the Buena Vista grasslands of central Wisconsin by Gene Jacobs. His transmitter, originally deployed on Arlington in 2018, was recovered and refurbished after Arlington was killed by a vehicle in April 2018 in Minnesota.
