Salyer is an third-year adult male snowy owl, tagged by Matt Solensky Jan. 14, 2023, near J. Clark Salyer National Wildlife Refuge in northern North Dakota. His transmitter was underwritten by generous contributions from the public to Project SNOWstorm.
