This adult female was trapped by SNOWstorm cooperators Nova Mackentley and Chris Neri on March 5, 2015. She is the fourth snowy owl marked with a transmitter in Michigan. Her unit is sponsored by an anonymous donor. Of particular interest is the fact that she occupies the territory immediately to the west of Chippewa, another adult female tagged earlier in the winter. This is the first time we’ve been able to tag neighboring owls, which will allow us to closely study their interactions and to what degree their territories overlap. Please donate to this project to make it a success!
